Pastor Teri L. Ditslear (Rev. Dr.)Pastor Teri came to Cody in November of 2025. She likes to say that her "Call" was part God, part family. She has a little grandaughter, who happens to live in Wapiti with her parents Kyle & Michaela. She has been married to her husband John for nearly 30 years, and they have a plethora of children and grandchildren.
Pastor Teri graduated from Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) in 2012 with a Masters of Divinity (D.Min). In 2025, she graduated from Northwind School of Theology with her (DTHM) Doctor of Theology in Open and Relational Theology. Her dissertation was centered around "The Future of the Church". She also holds a certificate of Spiritual Direction from Shalem, and a Certificate in EcoTheology from the Wild Church Network. She loves studying the Enneagram and Celtic Spirituality. She started a mission church, right out of seminary, in Noblesville, Indiana called Roots of Life Community. She was pastor there for thirteen years before moving to Cody.
Her hobbies include: cooking and baking, reading, traveling, gardening hiking, and learning new things. She views herself as a life long learner and is most interested in making Christ known to believers, unbelievers and inbetweeners alike. Her favorite saying is "When you are with us...you are part of us. And when you are not with us...you are still part of us."
Her life verse comes from Isaiah 42:18-19. "Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See! I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
